Rabies vaccine
I am taking immunosuppression medicines. I was beaten by a street dog some 5 years back and had not taken vaccine at that time. The bite was not on direct skin but was on my pants and no bite or scratch sign was seen on skin beneath the bite on pants. Nowadays I am hearing that rabies can affect a person years after exposure . Since I am immunosuppressed can I take rabies vaccine?

It been to long to worry about the disease especially when you are immunosuppressed bcz if the disease has to progress then it would have manifested till now.... also you have shared that there was no direct skin contact.....so no need to worry now...
Next Steps
do not miss the doses whenever exposed
