A dog playfully touched his paw in my naked leg, there was no sign or mark of any scratch or abrasion but still due to anxiety I initiated rabies post exposure prophylaxis...I took it on day 0,3,7 and 14...i am a healthy person with normal immune system, do I need 28th day shot too...as I read that new guidelines recommend only 4 shots. 1ml on detloid muscles, cell culture, rabivax s. Is is acceptable to take a gap of 1 day ,means if some one can take 28th day shot on 29th day... m very anxious person...
