My mother was vaccinated 1.5 years ago and she got scratched a few days ago by our cat. She has taken another 5 course of vaccine. My question is whether rabies spread from an animal during the incubation period of the virus or does it only spread from the animal once it reaches the brain and salivary glands of the animal?
