You do NOT need any more rabies vaccination. Your immunity is already extremely strong. Heavy vaccination does NOT reduce immunity. A light dog touch or possible scratch does NOT need vaccination in your case. You are fully protected. You received rabies vaccines many times in your life: • At 8 years → full 5-dose • At 19 years → full 5-dose • At 21 years → 2 doses • At 22 years → 1 dose • At 26 years → 1 dose 8 months ago • At 26 years → 1 dose 45 days ago • At 26 years → 1 dose 7 days ago That means you have had multiple boosters. Each booster increases the strength and duration of immunity. Rabies vaccines DO NOT cancel each other or reduce immunity. Extra doses do NOT cause failure. There is NO overdose effect with rabies vaccine. Your antibody level will remain very high for many years.
Health Tips
Important Point Heavy vaccination does NOT weaken immunity. Your immunity does not fail because of many doses. WHO and Indian guidelines say: “Individuals who received multiple doses in the past develop rapid anamnestic (memory) immune response and are protected for many years.” So you are safe.
