Lateral sphincterotomy was done 5 years ago to cure anal fissure. Now I am following high fibre diet but my question if I get hard stool as a side effect of other medicines as different types of other diseases are persisted or anyhow with out any proper cause then how can I avoid getting anal fissure inspite of getting occasionally hard stool ???

Lateral sphincterotomy is done to make the anal opening lax , so that it will heal the wound i.e fissure.
High fibre diet with plenty of fluid intake helps in avoiding hard stools .
But once you have a episode of hard stools , you should take remedies to avoid further episodes .
