Hello.. Please let your clinical Psychologist decide what therapy approach will be best for your wife. That can be determined by taking a history and detailed past treatment history.

To be able to give the answer that you want, I would need a better idea of your wife, which could come from actually having a rapport session with her. Any counsellor/therapist need to understand the individual's issues and characteristics better before getting into the treatment. That is how the process works. If you are thinking about counselling for her, then the best thing you can do is to start the process first. You can discuss regarding various therapy options and treatment plan with the psychologist then. The professional would be able to provide the answers that you need.
Next Steps
Approach a Clinical Psychologist or a Counselling Psychologist to start the process.

I am glad that you want to seek counselling sessions for her and your question in itself suggests how much research you have done. I understand how it feels to be a caregiver of someone who is suffering from an anxiety disorder but don't worry with the right medication and counselling she will be fine.
Next Steps
when you name specific therapies thats not exactly how it works. we need to take detailed session with the patient and then decide which specific therapy will benefit her in most cases an eclectic approach i mean a combination of different therapies works wonders. a therapist cannot go bookish we need to tailor make our sessions according to the individual we deal with. so i suggest you consult a Psychologist and take sessions so that you can be guided further
Health Tips
till then keep motivating her and be patient

Hi. In this stage it is necessary for your wife to vent out and reflect her inner emotions for which I would recommend combination of CBT and Psychoanalytic therapy based on the progress of the sessions.

Hello sir I really appreciate your concerns and acceptance of her problem, also helping her cope and handle the situation. Yes dealing with the anxiety, restlessness, helplessness and negative thought(some time) is a  difficult task. I understand at this period for some people triggerance could be there. However therapy along with the medication helps the person to cope and manage the situation in greater extent. But without knowing the actual problem it could be difficult to say which therapy could help your wife. There are various therapies for emotional problems. I would suggest you to consult the psychologist and they will discuss with you in starting of two sessions. As it is lock down please try to take online consultation. During this period she can work on various aspects like her reasons for emotional distress. Let her create her own pattern to apply skills in various activities. Take care, stay positive.
Next Steps
Visit psychologists for guidance and counselling
Health Tips
Follow routine, enjoy cooking dishes she feels happy, gardening, any art work, relaxation techniques with breathing exercises, spending time with loved ones. Please avoid that will trigger for anxiety.
