Look for warning signs like any fever, any swelling other than what we are seeing in picture , is child still having pain as post surgery, any pus in urine , or tip of penis or around suture line , Redness of skin, if child is having fear to pass urine then u should immediately consult a doctor preferably operated surgeon bcoz he know your pt well.
Otherwise u can wait and watch one or 2 weeks bcoz from the looks of picture it looks healing , some pt it takes time based on difficulty of procedure and technique used and differ patient to patient.
Next Steps
u can give him healthy diet and let him play and follow his routine if he is comfortable.
give vitamin c and E rich foods.
Based upon the symptoms and clinical history, Post Circumcision swelling is seen in some cases
As visible in the picture, the catgut sutures haven't dissolved, which indicates that a larger suture number has been used and improper suturing can be attributed to ur current clinical symptom
Next Steps
This condition usually resolves with appropriate medications and warm compress
Tablet Chymoral Forte 1 tab thrice daily can be used for 5 days
maintain utmost genital hygiene
Health Tips
Do look out for signs of infection, any symptom of burning urination and pain as treatment plan may change there after
Initially we can try tablets for a week, if there is no improvement surgeon will look if there is any collection of fluid or pus and proceed accordingly
