Psoriasis in scalp& mild flaking on face
I have been having Psoriasis since 2007. Doctors think that I probably got this disease because of unmeasured doses of malarial medication. My scalp flakes a lot and looks bad. People often ask me why do I have so much dandruff. And I have to again and again explain to different people that it is a condition I never thought of. :'-( Now, recently, my face has also started to show signs of dryness. What should I do? Please help me. Note- I used to apply ionax solution on my scalp when having a hairwash as prescribed to me by Dr Marwah from Vile Parle, Mumbai.

The anitmalarials can aggravate psoriasis. But that is unlikely to continue for so long. Diet changes and exercise can also help. Low dose Methotrexate can be started if scalp involvement is severe. Please visit me for more details.
