Prominent veins and capillaries
It's been raining here and the weather is cold.As soon as I put my hand in cold water to wash clothes, the veins and capillaries in my hand started appearing blue.Although the capillaries in my hands are not easily visible, but as soon as I put my hands in cold water, all my capillaries became visible. It doesn't feel like this normally. I can't see the capillaries in my hands. Is this because I put my hands in cold water?Well, I've done my work, so I can't see those capillaries in my hand.So is this normal or is it due to some deficiency?

You have already asked a similar question. As mentioned, this is completely normal — when you put your hands in cold water, the blood vessels near the skin react to the temperature change and become more visible, appearing blue or greenish. This goes away once your hands warm up, as you have noticed. There is no deficiency or disease causing this.
Next Steps
No investigation is needed for this, as it is a normal physiological response to cold. However, if you ever notice your fingers turning completely white or blue and staying that way even without cold exposure, or if you feel numbness, please get evaluated. Feel free to consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.

Veins go through contraction and dilation with changes in Environment or topical temperature. It's normal with their structure. And if you are someone who has delicate and light skin, the change is more visible. You are probably seeing it more clearly now and are more aware of it. I would say, there isn't any news to stress, no medication required.

Hi, visible veins in hands when exposed to cold water is completely normal. 😊 Cold causes them prominent temporarily especially in thinner skin. It’s not usually due to deficiency unless you have other symptoms. Feel free to consult for further guidance. 👍

The visibility of veins and small blood vessels after exposure to cold water is usually a normal response due to temporary changes in blood vessel tone and skin circulation. If the discoloration resolves after warming and there is no pain, numbness, or persistent color change, it is generally not a cause for concern.
Next Steps
Feel free to book a consultation so we can discuss the complete treatment plan in detail.
