Prominent capillaries on palm
The weather is a bit cold today. I dipped my hands in cold water to wash clothes. After that, I noticed that the  capillaries in my palm were looking greenish .This happens to everyone, but I found it strange because I never had so many prominent capillaries on my palms. My palm always looked red. That's why today when I suddenly saw it, I got a little scared. Is this a normal thing or is it due to some problem?

What you noticed is a normal physiological response. When your hands are exposed to cold water, the blood vessels near the skin contract and then dilate, making the superficial veins and capillaries on your palm more visible. The greenish tint is simply the color of veins seen through the skin. This is nothing to worry about.
Next Steps
No specific tests are needed for this, as it is a harmless finding. However, if you notice persistent color changes in your fingers (turning white, blue, or red with cold) or numbness, please get evaluated. Feel free to consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.

Mostly A normal reaction to cold water. Cold causes blood vessels in the hands to constrict, making superficial veins or capillaries appear more prominent or slightly greenish temporarily. Possible causes could be Physiological cold induced vasoconstriction (most common) Raynaud's phenomenon (if associated with white/blue/red color changes, numbness, or pain) Naturally thin skin with visible veins Advice - Warm your hands and observe. If the color returns to normal within a few minutes and there is no pain or numbness, it is usually harmless. Consult a doctor if the changes persist, recur frequently, or are associated with pain, numbness, ulcers, or finger discoloration. May other diffrencial diagnosis must be ruled out .

Based on the history provided, this is most likely a normal physiological response to cold exposure and usually does not require any specific treatment. Recommendations: Keep your hands warm and avoid prolonged exposure to cold water. Use gloves while washing clothes or working in cold conditions. Stay well hydrated. Observe whether the appearance returns to normal after warming the hands. Seek medical evaluation if: The discoloration persists or worsens. Fingers become painful, numb, or tingly. The hands turn white, blue, or purple repeatedly. There is swelling, skin ulceration, or other associated symptoms.
