Prolonged bleeding for 18 days with PCOD
I have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome in February and usually I get periods once in around 2 months. Whenever I get periods after this gap, the bleeding becomes prolonged that too at the end of the month. This time I have been bleeding continuously for the past 18 days (started around April 23). The flow varies from moderate to heavy at times with small and large clots. I want to know if this is dangerous or common in PCOD. How to stop it ??
