Pregnancy of one nhalf month and diabete

Asked for Female, 32 Years

I have pregnancy one and half month and am diabetic also...I was using met long 500 tablet but when I consult my doctor they discontinued this tab and gave insulin shot as alternate. Does using met long 500 from last 1 and half month affect my child

No met 500 does not effect pregnancy..insulin s given if u hv very irregular blood sugars..or else if u were adequately cobtrolled on metformin you could hv continued that itself..
