I am 24 weeks pregnant. And I have extreme cough. My doctor suggested ascoril d plus cough syrup and Montek lc tablet. Is Ascoril d plus cough syrup safe in pregnancy???

It depends a lot on risk benefit ratio
If the cough is uncontrollable and it causes a risk of rupture of bag of membranes than cough syrup is taken
Otherwise of the amount of cough is less than hot water with salt and turmeric gargles 3 times a day with levocetrizine might help
