Dont worry dear... Uterus is very small in size.. When the size of the uterus will increase then the placenta will go up.. Right now dont do any heavy physical activities, no sexual intercourse, avoid travelling... If you observe any spotting or bleeding then report to your gynaecologist immediately.
Next Steps
Follow up usg at 18-20 weeks and 32 weeks to see migration of placenta to upper segment of uterus..

Everything is normal, just placenta is low lying for that you have to be very careful like avoid heavy weight lifting, intercourse, long hrs of work/stress. As pregnancy progresses, uterus size increases to accommodate the growing baby which may cause a shift of placenta away from internal os ( cervix opening). Follow up to be done with USG @ 20 weeks (level 2 scan) and @26-28 weeks to check the placenta position.
Next Steps
Follow up with USG @26-28 weeks.
Health Tips
