Low lying placenta
Hello my dear doctor. I am 19 weeks of pregnancy... My placenta is low lying placenta... Yesterday taking iron table At 2.30pm and then 5 pm vomiting which colour was black.. Before pregnancy i have gastric problem. Endoscopey was done during 1 year ago.. Then show grade a esophagitis and lax less hill grade 2. Now i fells very bloated and abdominal pain also... For this reason i want going to Bangalore. For dygonish The journey is 3 hours train and 3hours flight, frist day going 3 hours train tend next day going 3 hours flight... Is it safe to me please suggested me,..

Hello ma'am, it will be better if you consult a gynaecologist too. Iron tablet in itself causes gastritis. By your history of gastritis, it's evident that you're experiencing it more. So if your Hb is good around 11 gm, you can take once daily Iron post meals 2 hrs. Also you can change to different iron brand formulations and see, if you're still nauseous. With regards to the low lying placenta, at present we need to just follow up with the diagnosis. For any more details or explanation, you can connect.
