Cut ragi java after your breakfast and instead of jowari roti take barley roti and add more vegetables and source of protein in each meal.

Dietary Guidelines Eat more Jowar, bajara , ragi , oats , whole wheat Green leafy vegetables and salads Dal , sprouts, paneer, curd , eggs , fish , chicken Nuts almonds, walnuts flaxseed Low GI fruit like apple, pear, guava, orange, berries Follow the plate method : 1/2 plate vegetables 1/4 plate protein ( dal, protein, egg , chicken) 1/4 plate grains ( limit to 1 cup cooked and add dal + vegetables) Avoid or limit : Sugar , jaggery, sweets Fruit juices Fried or fast foods Excess rice Sugar tea/ coffee Lifestyle: Walk 35-45 min daily Walk 10-15 min after lunch and dinner 7-8 hours sleep Maintain healthy weight
