This is a follow up question to my last question
I asked about why despite my strict workouts weight don't seem to be loosing. Some doctors said I may be consuming nutrition dense food, some other said about cartisol levels problems. I certainly consult a professional but whether to go for dietician or a nutritionist that's the question, second which are the blood tests that are pre required before visiting the doctors

Do consult a healthcare professional first and get the required bloodwork or test (thyroid, vitamin profile) as advised done before your consultation.
-You can also maintain a food diary including details about meals consumed daily to help understand your daily calorie intake before your visit to a dietitian / nutritionist.
Here are some dietary recommendations you can follow:
-Have a glass of warm water with a pinch of cinnamon, black pepper powder, ½ tsp lemon juice to help you boost your metabolism.
-Try to follow the ideal plate method: fill half of the plate with fiber (green vegetable, soups, salads or stir fry); 1/4th plate with protein sources (dals, pulses, legumes, low fat paneer, soyabean, tofu, egg white, fish or lean chicken) and remaining 1/4th of your plate with preferably complex carbohydrates sources (brown rice, quinoa or dalia).
-Consume at least 2 - 2.5l of water daily and get 8 to 9 hours of sleep daily.
-Exercise regularly, preferably cardio (brisk walking, running, swimming, sport of your choice) for 30 - 45 minutes daily for 5 to 6 days a week.

Do consult me for a detailed diet plan based on your lifestyle preferences to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
A nutritionist is the right first step to assess diet, portions, and lifestyle patterns, while a doctor is needed only if a medical issue is suspected.
Before consulting, you can get these basic tests done:
• Thyroid panel (TSH, T3, T4)
• Fasting insulin & HbA1c
• Lipid profile
• Liver & kidney function tests
• Vitamin D & B12
• Fasting cortisol (optional)
These help identify whether the issue is hormonal, metabolic, or dietary
Healthy evening
Plz directly consult a good dietitian
Also you check blood parameters like
CBC , Thyroid profile, LFT , KFT , vitamin D , calcium and Vitamin B12 and lipid profile
Hello there,
First of all there is a difference between a Dietitian and a Nutritionist. A nutritionist only provides general guidance of wellbeing without needing much educational qualifications but a dietitian is someone who can help you treat or manage diseases or health conditions with proper medical nutrition therapy.
Now, as you have to get your blood levels checked so only a dietitian can help you here.
Blood parameters that are required in your case are cortisol, Vit D, b12, anti TPO, thyroid panel test, FBS, HbA1c, lipid profile, HOMA-IR to check insulin resistance, CRP plus CBC
It would be best if you do a consultation before doing blood tests, as all the factors will be considered and accordingly only necessary tests can be prescribed.
A general answer from here won't help as some tests could be unnecessary.

Hi
Please do a complete blood test if you haven’t done in recent times. This should have vitamin D, B12, iron and cortisol, fasting insulin in addition to others.
Whether you go with a nutritionist or a dietitian, check for their qualification and experience before deciding.
