GE Dr. Today we done usg abdomen n LFT. WE ARE HAVING STOMACH PAIN SINCE 15 DAYS. VISITED GENERAL SURGEON. But Dr doesn't tell anything about report . We are scared about it. Is it reports normal or anything serious ?? Plz tell me sir. Both kidneys shows increase Cortical echos. N both kidneys shows parenchymal disease . What is this sir. Is it serious??

Increased CM differentiation points towards AKI or acute kidney injury the cause of which needs to be determined. Must consult a nephrologist with renal function test report. While it is a serious illness, it hardly leads to a long term illness in ambulatory patients with no comorbidities. Stomach pain and colitis should be evaluated by the surgeon.
