Please help
I had FNAC yesterday on a 5*5mm nodule on right thyroid and results came like this- "Microscopic findings: Smears show predominantly blood with scant colloid with few clusters of follicular cells, some in microacinar pattern. IMPRESSION: Thy3a Excision advisable for exact characterization" I feel like something is stuck in my throat although there's no pain. There's a clicking sound when I swallow and I have non productive cough since a month. I feel badly fatigued and it's growing worse. I have a dull headache, body pain and nausea throughout the day, everyday. I get flat, red spots that look like leaky blood vessels if I put a little pressure on my skin. I am taking propanolol for my tachycardia since a month but heart rate still staying at 90 (earlier it was 110-120). My weight is normal for my height. Could I possibly be having thyroid cancer?

Thy3 results from thyroid FNA have a significant risk of malignancy but there remains confusion surrounding their management.  I'd suggest you to go for tru-cut biopsy. If significant risk of malignancy is proven then go for lobectomy straight away. If anything else concerns you, take online consultation ASAP, I'll help in whatever way i can
