Your symptoms strongly suggest chronic plantar fasciitis, where the tissue under the foot becomes tight and painful after rest, especially in the morning. The pain improves with movement but returns after prolonged sitting or activity. Treatment includes daily stretching of the calf and foot, ice rolling, and wearing cushioned footwear with good arch support at all times. Avoid walking barefoot and high-impact activities for now. With consistent care, most cases improve without surgery.
