Pet dog bit me on hand
Hi doctor, My pet dog was suffering from swollen stomach and while taking him to hospital, he bit me on hand, unfortunately he is no more now, my dog last rabies vaccine done on June 2021, I took vaxirab N and TT on day 0, and vaxirab N on 3rd day, now my doc is asking to take rabies monoclonal antibodies inj on 4th day. Is it good to take this on 4th day?

Usually the monoclonal antibodies injection is supposed to be taken on day zero itself but can be taken upto 7 days of exposure.
Next Steps
since rabies is 100% fatal, it is best to not take any chance and take the immunoglobulin asap.
