Persistent tongue ulcer

Asked for Male, 45 Years

Having ulcer under the tongue since last 2 months. Tried anti fungal treatment first, then tried steroid mouth creme suggested by dentist. There is no teeth related trauma or injury as I got it checked from a dentist. Also taking Vit B supplements. What should be the next course of action? Ulcer is painful . Kindly suggest.

Persistent Ulcer more than 3 weeks need to be carefully examined by a surgeon. There are multiple reasons for a persistent Ulcer. Can be due to smoking, gutka, pan, viral, bacterial, fungal, autoimmune or tumor.
