Persistent cough

Asked for Female, 36 Years

I am having cough from last 2 months...on 15 October I was having cold,cough n fever.Doxtor gave me medicine....but cough still persists...I already took lot of antibiotics n cough syrup also.Also took opinion from ENT specialist ....but the cough is still there.Even I tried a lot of home remedies...plz help

You seem to be suffering from post viral cough which is common type of Dry cough syndrome after an attack of viral upper respiratory tract infection which you had. Usually it will resolve on its own within few days to weeks. You can use Dry cough syrups, strepsils like lozenges and steam inhalation for faster recovery
