PCV1 Vaccine
My daughter is 45days old and today we took her 1st dose of DTwP1,IPV1/OPV, Heb-B2, HIB 1 vaccines. As per the vaccine slot PCV 1 is also included. But doctor informed me that PCV1 as optional one and not mandatory. Is it mandatory to give PCV1 vaccine? Or I can skip? Please advise

According to current regime it is mandatory. It has been included recently, we have not given to our children. since Facilities and technology is available, do give it after 2weeks.It is good to give protection.

Greetings , PCV is optional vaccine but it's recommended to take if you are affordable PCV -23 is best .

Yes it is optional vaccine but it is good as PCV vaccine prevents against pneumonia, meningitis and ear infections..all of these are common in children. I would advise taking the vaccination

Pneumococcal vaccine is optional but it is good to Get Vaccinated.As children have More chances of pneumonia infection. It will help for Pneumonia and CNS infection. I recommend you to get Vaccinated.

If affordable please give PCV vaccination also as it protects against pneumonia and meningitis
