It is a result of abnormal posturing during the surgery with inadequate padding which led to neuropraxia. It should resolve spontaneously.Little itching is also expected

The numb sensation could be related to positioning done during the surgery (neuropraxia). It generally gets resolved on its own. Itching seems to be unrelated.
