Pain and swelling is more suggestive of a infection of the external ear and canal. I cannot say about the rupturing of ear drum until I examine. Please take a course of antibiotics and analgesics for a week. And please visit a nearby ent doctor for proper examination of the ear drum.. Ear packing may be required if the swelling in present in the ear canal as well
