Pain in left testicle
Dear sir/mam I had a severe pain in my left testicle and lower abdomen when i woke up on 2nd April. It use to shoot up for an hour or so (totally unbearable) and after it used to get normal. I consulted a general physician he advised me some medicine right now pain is neglogible after taking medicine for 5 days. Kindly look into the reports and guide. Medicine which i was prescribed were Signoflam Bactrim ds Razo d capsule 4days.

There is inflammation of ur testis and cord. I would like to ask about that "shoot up" bcz it is not matching. As u r from Gaziabad i would like to ask some more details to rule out filariasis. Consult in pvt chat for further queries.

You have infection in your left testicle which is generally spread from infection in your urine. 1) Hence you need to get a bacterial antibiotic sensitivity test of the urine to see the type of bacteria which is causing the infection. 2) you need to change the antibiotic to Tab.Nitrafurantoin 100mg twice a day for 7 days 3) you also need to give adequate scrotal support to your testicle and should wear a V shaped underwear which is one size smaller than yours. 4) if you are aged more than 40 years or are obese then kindly get a Fasting and post prandual blood sugar estimation . 5) Consume plenty of water

It is a case of epididymoechiris.although treatment given is ok.but if not responding you can change the antibiorics to augmentin 625 mg bd for 5 days.
