You will have to see a General Surgeon regarding this and get yourself examined ASAP if having severe abdominal pain. There could be many causes for abdominal pain and without examination it can not be diagnosed.

Hi,
Severe abdominal pain can have various causes depending on the location of the pain. It is difficult to localize the causes without knowing whether the pain arises from the right, left, upper, or lower parts of the abdomen. Some common causes can be appendicitis, gall stone pain, kidney stones, severe gastritis, ectopic pregnancies, etc, to name a few.
I would suggest that if the pain is unbearable, then your friend should seek immediate medical attention and preferably get an ultrasound whole abdomen done as well.
