Pain in left ear
Hello Doctor,
I am having pain in my left ear since last Friday.
The pain is so intense that I can feel the pain in my throat as well...
I am not able to open the left part of my mouth properly due to pain in whole mouth.
In 2009,I got severe pain in my ear and I came to know that I have ear discharge problem...
I took treatment that time and it went off.
However,I usually get pain in my ear only if I have cold...
Now,I don't have any cold still I am having pain in my left ear...
I took head bath on Friday and after that it got triggered.
Request you to advise some medicines as I can't go out due to lockdown...
Now,I am using paracetamol and candibiotic ear drops to get rid from pain.

From your history it appears that it's some sort of ear infection. However it will require evaluation to come to the diagnosis and treatment. You may require oral antibiotics as well. Selection of antibiotics will depend on the location of infection within the ear and other associated symptoms.

don't put the ear drop till you are put on proper treatment. till you seek formal or online consultation pl continues with paracetamol 650 mg for pain.
avoid using ear buds for cleaning the ear.
keep your ear dry.

This could be because of ear infection or may be because of TMJ Tenderness because you said you feel pain in opening mouth also
Ear infection will need antibiotics
