Pain in frnt right neck & nearby mucsles
From last 3 days I am facing muscle pain in front right side of neck, comes and goes randomly. Yesterday after taking bath I had huge pain in myright side of neck, trapezious, little bit in upper chest,  and my upper back. So I took a diaclofamac-sodium 60mg and paracetamol 325mg, (I don't remember name of that tablet but it was given by an dentist, a grey color tablet in square shape). And applied omnigel in whole area then took rest for about 2 hours in noon. Later It felt well but still I have heaviness in all paining areas and but no pain right now neck muscle from bottom still pains randomly for few seconds to minutes. Few days back I completed course of antibiotics for typhoid. Presently I am taking rabevera 30/20mg for indigestion and manol nutra for weakness once a day in morning. The pain in muscle is from base of neck, and jaw.

Hello, Welcome and thanks for your query. This pain is likely to be due to muscle spasms involving muscles on the side of the spine mainly the neck. Two common causes are 'tech neck ' or /and vitamin D deficiency. Correct posture while using the computer or mobile phone, correction of vitamin D deficiency if present would help. Do get back to me if you have further queries.

Without physical examination its difficult to find, but you have to avoid pillow, lie on a flat hard surface. Improve your posture, stand erect without slouching.
