I fell down the stairs one year ago.It hurted just below the ankle. Just after 5 minutes the foot swelled with a lot pain. Doctors said there is no fracture and just the ligament damage and advised me to walk with a crape bandage. There was no crack in the x-ray. I used crape bandage for 5-6 months . But the pain is still there while walking and it feels little heavier. What could be the reason behind this and how to cure it completely as it is affecting my quality of daily life?
