Pain above my lady part

Asked for Female, 23 Years

So today i have been having some pains above my vagina, and it seems to have opened wide. i had my first child about a year ago, and i have been off and on birth control. i took the morning after pill 2 weeks ago and i was supposed to be on my period this past week. i dont know what to do, should i take a pregnancy test or is it something else?
