Pacreatitis pain

Asked for Male, 16 Years

My son 16 years of age suffering from pancreatitis. On 16th july my son took antibiotic given by family doctor for viral fever and felt pain in abdomen.he stopped medicine immediately .On 17 july amylase was 237 and on 19july it is 55. Was that increase in amylase was bcoz of antibiotic and dilo he took and after stoping medicines amylase reduced to normal.

Some Antibiotics can cause PANCREATITIS. But this cannot be predicted. Just make sure he doesn't get that again
