Dear Doctor attached is X-ray image of my mother. Please advise if surgery is required or she can manage with HA injection . She is a CKD patient. Worried of surgery in managing the pain.

Hello.The x ray of your mother shows advanced Osteoarthrosis.HA injection or PRP injection may provide temporary pain relief.Eventually pain will recur.Only surgery(Total or Partial Knee replacement) can provide long-term pain relief and improved walking ability.
