Numbness and tingling all over body

Asked for Male, 34 Years

My wife is suffering from numbness and tingling all over body. It happened once last year around same time and it happened again today. When contacted general physician he said it could be due to over dosage of some medicine or some food allergy. She is taking medicines related to melasma. We would like to know if it could be for any other reason. Please suggest and provide some information on this.
