Usually by 9 months, baby’s weight it should be between 2-3 times of the birth weight. If its below that, we have to evaluate the child. Also need to check length, head circumference and mid arm circumference. Consult once for physical assessment. Would be helpful if nutrition history regarding breastfeeding and complementary feeds.
Next Steps
Keep track on weight velocity. Serial weight measurement is better than single weight measurement
Health Tips
Consult if weight doesn’t get 3X the birth weight by 1 teary

Try giving small and frequent feeds and start with semisolid consistency and further add more solid as baby start accepting solid.
No need to add mct oil
Weight is following normal trend
Usually Birth weight triples at 1 yr means birth weight was 2.4kg ×3 triples = 7.2kg
So baby weight is normal only
Try giving Neopeptin drops 1ml daily once before feed for 5 days to increase Appetite
