Not drinking enough water- kidney damage
I want to know does the kidney get damage if you don't drink enough water? I don't drink enough water 3-4 glass a day,will it lead to ckd? There is one known lady who is on dialysis and people say her kidneys are damaged because she used to fast too much. I also do Monday fast where I don't eat but drink water

Kidneys don't get damaged due to fasting .. but u have to drink enough water .. ideally kidneys are organs that filters 200 litres of blood every day and reabsorbs 198.5 litres back inside making the remaining 1.5 litres as urine .. u might get dehydrated if u don't drink enough water but ur body conserves enough water otherwise u will get the thirst which urges u to drink water ... cheers :)

Inadequate water , leads to dehydration which  results in poor blood supply, reduced urine output, inadequate disposal of wastes, If this all goes on over long time yes kidney damage will result However common causes of kidney damage are hypertension and diabetes
