Continue taking dolo 650 mg tds for 2 days to break your fever cycle and also dolo helps with mild flank pain (kidney area) For throat irritation u can do betadine gargle if not luke warm with a pinch of salt and then gargle Drink plenty of water If still pain over kidney area persists and also other symptoms increase see a gen physician for further evaluation Anemia makes body vulnerable to make infections but u cannot directly correlate anemia to your fever

Please don't link your fever with your anaemia.  Fever needs treatment in its own right and the treatment for anaemia has to be continued.

Hello, Based on your history and current symptoms, there are two main areas we need to address immediately: your current infection and your underlying anemia. 1. Acute Concern: Fever and Kidney Pain The presence of a recurring fever associated with "pain near the kidney" (flank pain) is a significant clinical red flag, especially given your history of kidney stones. Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) / Pyelonephritis: A fever coupled with flank pain often suggests that a simple UTI may have ascended to the kidneys. Recurrent Stones: The pain could also indicate a recurring kidney stone, which may be complicated by an infection. Recommendation: You should ideally undergo a Urinalysis (Routine & Microscopy) and an Ultrasound (KUB) to rule out a kidney infection or an obstructing stone. 2. Chronic Concern: Severe Microcytic Anemia Your Hb of 8.5 and MCV of 58 indicate significant Microcytic Hypochromic Anemia. While Iron Deficiency is common, an MCV as low as 58 (very small red blood cells) also raises the possibility of Thalassemia Trait. Recommendation: If you do not see significant improvement with your current iron supplements (Ferrowtwo) after the second month, a Serum Ferritin test and Hb Electrophoresis (HPLC) should be performed to differentiate between iron deficiency and Thalassemia. Immediate Advice Hydration: Increase your water intake significantly. Monitor Symptoms: If you experience high-grade fever, chills, vomiting, or if the pain becomes unbearable, please visit an emergency department immediately. Follow-up: Do not rely solely on Dolo (Paracetamol) to mask the fever; it is essential to identify the source of the infection.

Likely viral infection + body ache; kidney area pain can be due to muscle pain or urine infection. Continue paracetamol, drink plenty water, and continue iron meds. If burning urine, high fever, or pain increases → do urine test. You can consult me for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Iron Deficiency Anemia t If you are experiencing fever and cold, you should visit our clinic. We will take your detailed medical history and perform a proper physical examination. After that, we will advise blood investigations such as CBC, ESR, CRP, urine routine examination, and a fever profile (including Typhidot IgG/IgM and Widal test). Additional tests may be recommended based on your condition. If you have symptoms like cough or persistent cold, a chest X-ray may also be advised. After reviewing your reports and clinical examination, we will provide appropriate treatment according to your condition

Continue the medicines as advised for now . Drink plenty of fluids (2-3L/day) Fever with sore throat most likely is unrelated and is due to acute pharyngitis. Take paracetamol for fever SOS and do warm saline /betadine liquid gargling thrice daily for 3 days. If fever persist for more than 3-4 days, need to take some URTI related antibiotics. For anemia, repeat the Hb after 2 months of treatment, if not improved ,need to go for iron profile, b12, peripheral smear and retic to know the exact cause and treat accordingly. And for pain near left kidney, might be UTI . If pain persists beyond 3 days, do urine routine microscopy (if pus cells present need to do Urine culture ) and ultrasound to rule out any calculi(stone).

As per your description and the place you stay, it seems simple viral flu which is in the air. You can take T. PCM 2 tablets after eating something twice to thrice a day. Or you can take T. Sinarest twice a day. Do gargles with warm saline water. If nose feels stuffy, you may take Nasivion drops, two drops in each nostril 2-3 times a day, put in a lying down position so that it can go till the back of your nasal cavity and open it. Do some breathing exercises early in the morning in fresh air. As far as your pain in kidney region is concerned, it could be due t to excessive cough and for this you can just apply Vicks there, BUT do not forget your past history of renal calculus so consult any surgeon, get a plain X ray KUB early in the morning to see if there is recurrence of stones in your kidney.
Next Steps
Treatment as advised and X ray KUB empty stomach in the morning

"Your low MCV (58) and Hb (8.5) indicate a significant case of Microcytic Anemia. However, the recurring fever and pain near the kidney area are concerning and suggest a possible Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) or Kidney Infection (Pyelonephritis). Iron supplements alone won't treat the fever.
Next Steps
We need to investigate if the infection is worsening your weakness. I strongly recommend a Urgent Urine Routine/Culture and a CBC to check your current infection levels."
Health Tips
i need some more information from your side so you can contact and ask for consultations till then Drink plenty of water (2-3 liters) to flush out any urinary pathogens. Avoid self-medicating with painkillers like Diclofenac for kidney pain, as they can be harsh on the kidneys, especially when you are anemic. If your fever increases or if you experience vomiting and severe shivering (rigors), do not wait—visit an emergency department immediately. Infections in anemic patients can weaken the immune system rapidly."

Based on your history of low hemoglobin (Hb 8.5) and current symptoms of low-grade fever, cold, throat irritation, and pain near the kidney area, this may be a viral illness. However, flank pain raises the possibility of a urinary infection. I recommend: • Adequate hydration • Paracetamol for fever if needed • Warm saline gargles for throat irritation
Next Steps
If fever persists, pain increases, or you develop burning urination, please get the following tests: CBC, urine routine, and consider ultrasound KUB.

You are most likely having throat infection. Since you are continuing to have febrile episodes and throat irritation , you can start azithromycin 500 mg 1 tab once daily before food for 3 days And you should continue iron supplements for one more month since you are having anemia ( iron deficiency anaemia)
