Not able to hear from right ear

Asked for Female, 44 Years

My sis is having problem in her both ear. Doctor said her right ear is totally nonfunctional now as the nerve that goes to brain got infection and got totally damage. Chances are that due to too much stress and pressure the other ear may also get effected. Please suggest

Childhood brain infection known as meningitis can cause damage to hearing organ and lead to total hearing loss. There is no treatment for this condition especially when hearing organ in calcified. Since other ear is normal she need not bother and stress can not cause hearing loss
