My son is having protein2+he is on syrup omnocortil forte 5 weeks completed still 2+ steroid is is responding or not I don't know before 3+ edema was there after treatment edema disappeared but protein still 2+ in urine it will come down plz tell me sir any one he is taking 6 ml in morning night 5ml age 4yers wt now he is increased 18.5 steroid is responding or not tell me sir any one

If patient is clinically better, we should wait for 8 weeks for complete remission. If there is no remission of disease or protein is still 2+ beyond 8 weeks, steroid sparing agents should be used for the management.
