Nephrotic syndrome
My daughter is 8 year old, she has swelling in foot  and Doctor is saying nephrotic syndrome. Please tell is it curable with tablet or not . Is children get rid from this in one time.

We don't have enough information. Has the urine test been done ? Usually it will show protein in the urine . If it is nephrotic syndrome , in a 8 year old , it will usually respond well to oral steroid tablets . However , the risk of the disease  coming back again or requiring steroids for long times is there .
