Fever is basically a temperature more than 98F in the morning and a temoerature more than 99.9F in the evening
As the day goes on the body naturally increases the temperature , so a fluctuation of around 1F between morning and evening temperature is quite normal.
Secondly in females in the pre ovulation period the body also produces a lot of progesterone which also increases the basal body temperature , this can also be misinterpreted as a fever
