Hello Doctor Can I get covid vaccine dose as I am breastfeeding mother and was Tested positive few days back? If yes when should I get vaccination? Is there any specific count of days I should wait for getting vaccination done. And same situation is with my mom she is 65 n was tested positive 20 days befr. when she should get 2nd dose of her vaccination which is due last 29th.

You should get your vaccine dose after 4-8 weeks of your covid recovery. In case of covishield vaccine,  the minimum duration between 1st and 2nd dose should be 12-16 weeks

You need to give atleast one month after quarantine period for taking the first /second dose of vaccine. Breastfeeding woman who are keen to take, can take the vaccine.
