This is common, levels drop after stopping supplements. Instead of frequent testing, complete a proper course and continue a maintenance dose. Vit D weekly course and monthly maintenance B12 can be continued orally long term With the right plan, levels stay stable. I can guide your exact doses feel free to consult.

Ideally I'd you add foods rich in these two in your diet, you may not have to take supplements so regularly. For vit D3 , if it's too low you may take one inj Arachitol intra muscular and wait for 3 mths to get the test repeated or you can take any calcium with added Aloha D3 , daily twice a day supplemented with Tayo 60k weekly for 10 weeks. For Vit B12, you may take mecobal 1500mcg once at day after meals at night. Yes, do get your tests repeated every 6 mthly. You must also visit an internal medicine specialist to get diagnosed the chronicity of these deficiencies in you.
Next Steps
As adviced above

Hello. I have reviewed your concerns regarding the recurring drop in your Vitamin D and B12 levels. It is common for these levels to fluctuate, especially if there are underlying factors such as dietary habits, limited sun exposure, or absorption issues in the gut. 1. Testing Frequency Bi-annual Testing: Instead of testing every 2 months, undergoing a blood test twice a year is generally sufficient to monitor your levels once they have been stabilized. Avoid Self-Supplementation: It is important not to start high-dose supplements on your own without medical supervision, as excessive intake of certain vitamins can lead to other health complications. 2. Natural Dietary Sources Incorporating nutrient-dense foods into your daily diet can help maintain these levels naturally: For Vitamin B12: Increase your intake of curd (yogurt), cheese, eggs, and fortified cereals. For Vitamin D: Focus on fortified foods, mushrooms, and whole grains. General Nutrition: Adding a variety of nuts and berries to your diet provides essential micronutrients that support overall metabolic health. Clinical Insight for You The "Drop" Phenomenon: When levels fall immediately after stopping supplements, it often suggests that the patient's "maintenance" dose or dietary intake is insufficient to cover their daily requirements. Sun Exposure: For Vitamin D, since she is a student, inquire if her schedule allows for 15–20 minutes of morning sunlight, which is the most effective natural source. B12 Absorption: In young patients with recurring B12 deficiency, consider screening for pernicious anemia or malabsorption syndromes (like Celiac disease) if dietary intake appears adequate but levels remain stubbornly low. The goal is to transition from a cycle of "deficiency and rescue" to a sustainable lifestyle-based maintenance plan.

Chronic deficiencies in Vitamin D3 and B12 are frequently linked to lifestyle factors, such as limited sunlight exposure and dietary habits (especially in vegetarians). Once the initial 'loading' phase of treatment is complete, the focus must shift from correction to maintenance. Relying on self-supplementation without periodic monitoring can lead to either recurrence of the deficiency or, in rare cases, vitamin toxicity."
Next Steps
Monitoring Schedule:   you do not need monthly tests. A re-test 8–12 weeks after completing a course is sufficient. If stable, checking once every 6–12 months is standard. Loading Phase (Correction): Vitamin D3: 60,000 IU once weekly for 8 weeks. Vitamin B12: 1500 mcg daily for 1–2 months. Maintenance Phase: Vitamin D3: Switch to 60,000 IU once a month indefinitely to keep levels stable. Vitamin B12: Focus on dietary inclusion (dairy, eggs, or fortified foods). If you are strictly vegan/vegetarian, a low-dose daily supplement may be needed. : If symptoms like fatigue or bone pain return despite maintenance, a formal clinical consultation is mandatory to check for absorption issues like Celiac disease or Pernicious Anemia.
Health Tips
vitamins are the fuel for your cellular health. Taking them randomly is like guessing your car's fuel level. book a consultation so we can review your latest lab results and set up a precise, long-term maintenance schedule that fits your lifestyle."

You likely need a maintenance dose rather than repeated full courses. No need for very frequent testing repeat after 3–6 months.

Please book a consultation for proper dose and long-term plan.
