Hormonal Blood Panel: It is often helpful to check HbA1c, fasting insulin kraft test, and lipid profiles before starting.
Titration Plan: These medications are started at a low dose and increased gradually over several months to minimize side effects like nausea.
Long-term Strategy: These are most effective when viewed as a tool to support—rather than replace—a high-protein, low-glycemic diet and strength training.

Health Tips
Diet and exercise is very important regardless of weight loss medications.
This is obesity with PCOS where weight loss is difficult due to hormonal and insulin resistance factors. Since lifestyle efforts are already being tried, medical therapy can be considered but only under supervision
Next Steps
-Check HbA1c, fasting insulin and thyroid before starting injections
-Metformin may also help in PCOS with insulin resistance but need to evaluate sugar levels before prescribing
Health Tips
-Continue regular exercise with focus on strength training
-Follow high protein low refined carb diet
-Sleep and stress control are very important for weight loss

The difficulty you are facing is due to insulin resistance common with PCOS. Weight loss injections work by mimicking hormones that slow digestion, reduce cravings, and improve how your body uses insulin these injections can cause stomach issues like nausea or diarrhea, and you shouldn't use them if you have a history of thyroid cancer in family. Also weight gains back if you stop the medicine without a permanent lifestyle plan.
Next Steps
Book an appointment with an Endocrinologist who specializes in PCOS
Health Tips
Eat high-protein meals, drink plenty of water, and prioritize strength training to boost your metabolism and manage PCOS symptoms.
