What is her profession? How much is her gadget use? How much does she require to be in forward bend position at the neck through the day? Ask her to do regular movements of her neck and work in such a way that things are at her eye level.
She might have postural alignment issues. In her case, it seems like involvement of trapezius muscle. Which in turn gets affected because of overuse or disuse.
Next Steps
she can get consultation from a good physiotherapist who can help her get rid of problem or you can consult an orthopaedician who will prescribe her medication for her pain.
