Nail fungal problem
Hello Doctor, I had a nail fungal infection earlier. I completed a full 12-week course of Terbinafine 250 mg(daily 1 tablet)and also used Amorolfine nail lacquer(weekly 1 time). Now my nails look almost normal in color and thickness. There is no yellowing or thickening. Only a slight mark near the tip is left, which is gradually growing out. Sometimes the surface looks a bit rough, its maybe for amorofile layer! Could you please advise: Can this be considered fully cured? How long should I continue Amorolfine? Is there any need for further oral medication? Any precautions to prevent recurrence? I have attached the current nail image for reference. The nail already has a layer of Amorolfine on it and There is no pain anymore. Thank you.
