Fungal or psoriatic arthritis related ?
Hi I have psoriatic arthritis diagnosed in 2021 , with joint pain symptoms initially later with skin symptoms in genital and scalp, beard , etc. recently seeing a nail damage symptom thought it will be ok but getting worse but no such pain is there. Is it fungal or related to my psoriatic arthritis? image attached.
Also, I have seen a surgeon for piles and foreskin tightening on erection - flenoplasty recommend, can it be done by dermatologist also?

You have received a diagnosis of psoriasis.
It can affect your skin, nails and joints with propensity towards developing cardiometabolic diseases.
When there is nail involvement - it depends how many nails are involved before starting tteatment...it depends on it
Also, many cases of psoratic nails have associated onychomycosis that is fungal nail infection....it becomes necessary to treat it as it can aggravate your nail psoriasis by what we call as koebner phenomenan.
