Hi Vineet, Your tibia nail can be removed if it's causing problems. We usually leave rods in the body if it's not causing any problems because of the simple reason that any surgery is a surgery after all and has all those risks of Anesthesia and bleeding etc. So if needed get it removed. It's a straight forward surgery. Risks are that implant can get stuck and won't come out. Or may break inside. Or may cause a fracture which will need another plaster etc. Usually these don't happen, but there is a chance so you have to be mentally prepared.
Next Steps
good luck.
Health Tips
if all is well, you can walk in a week's time.

Hello You can get the implant removed ideally yo be done in less than 2 years. But the risks of implant breaking, infection and fracture are there.
