My serum potassium is 5.9mg/dl
Serum potassium in my blood is 5.9 mg/dl according to KFT. I have traces of blood in my urine. Is it concerning matter?

Serum potassium more than 5.5 is a concern, when you have renal dysfunction,if u have fruit juices or coconut water before your test it can cause a higher value,there are medications to reduce potassium but first you need an ecg to rule out and changes cause of high potassium,if not it can be managed by oral medications

High potassium of more than 5.5 is a concern. What is your creatinine level? Meanwhile, start. K bind sachet once a day in 100 ML water. To drink it orally. Check potassium every day till it normalises.
